Welcome to Aga Sideri, where you can learn about cider production in Hardanger. Cider has for a long time been an important part of the local culture and has a history that stretches far back in time.

Hardanger cider is celebrated for its exceptional quality, thanks to the region’s unique climate and fertile soil, which is perfect for growing apples. And south-facing Aga is one of the perfect places for apple farming and cider production.

The experienced guide will give you a brief tour around the farm and production facilities while you hear about the nuances of apple farming, the cider-making process, and the area’s rich history.

After the short presentation, you will get the chance to taste two types of cider, served together with cheese. There will be opportunities to buy cider and other local products from the Aga Sideri farm shop after the tasting.
